Emotional Intelligence
Emotional Intelligence is the ability to identify, understand and regulate emotions. While children are growing and developing it is important to support the development of their emotional literacy, body awareness and self-regulation skills in order to help them thrive in life. When a child is able to adequately identify and manage their emotions this allows them to easily process and retain information whilst learning at school, as well as develop healthy social relationships and maintain their overall mental well-being.
We offer services and resources to support children in building the skills needed to identify, understand and healthily express their emotions. When a child has low emotional intelligence they may experience difficulty in managing their emotions, maintaining social relationships and/or concentrating at school.
What will your child learn?
