About the Founder

Our Philosophy

Our mission is to deliver therapeutic services for children and teenagers to improve their self-confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence so they can thrive in all areas of life.
A child’s self-confidence, resilience and emotional intelligence can influence various aspects of their life. These aspects may include: their ability to cope with life’s challenges, the quality of their relationships, academic and sporting performance and an overall drive to succeed and pursue goals in life. We believe it is vital to teach children important life skills early on in life, while their brains are growing and developing, to set them up for success in the future.

How can we make a lasting difference?

Our experienced Child and Adolescent Counsellors use a strength-based, evidence-informed approach to provide personalized services tailored to each child's developmental needs. Our goal is to foster engagement, create a safe space for self-expression, and ensure positive learning outcomes.
We are one of the few services in the community that works collaboratively with caregivers, offering one-on-one support throughout the child’s counselling journey. Our counsellors provide evidence-based strategies to caregivers, enhancing the therapeutic process and supporting the child's needs at home and school.
With a proven track record of building trusting relationships, our counsellors help children process emotions, develop regulation strategies, and leverage their strengths to overcome challenges and build resilience. Research shows that strong therapeutic relationships are key to successful outcomes, and we prioritize this connection in every session.
